To learn from typical clinical and management problems involving older persons. At the end of this module the clinician will have gained experience in the causes of falls in the elderly, presentations involving memory loss and change of behaviour, risks for vertebral fracture, management and recognition of certain chronic diseases more common in older people, management of pain in the complex elderly patient and end-of-life issues.
